On March 9, 2024, the Consul General visited Buduruwagala Raja Maha Viharaya to seek blessings from the noble triple gems. During his visit, he met with the Chief Incumbent Senior Prof. Ven. Tharele Dhammaratana Thero, engaging in discussions that highlighted the deep cultural and spiritual connections between India and Sri Lanka, thus fostering mutual respect and understanding.
