EK Ped Maa Ke Naam - Tree Plantation at India House

As part of the #Plant4Mother (#??_????_???_??_???) campaign, the Consul General, officials of the Consulate, and members of the local community in Hambantota came together to plant saplings of Mango, Neem, and Mee at India House on 31st July 2024.

The #Plant4Mother campaign is an environmental initiative of Government of India aimed at encouraging people to plant trees in honor of their mothers. It emphasizes the importance of nurturing nature just as we nurture our families, promoting green cover, enhancing biodiversity, and contributing to the fight against climate change. The campaign unites communities in a shared effort to protect the environment for future generations
