One Week Kathak Garba & Bollywood Dance Workshop

One Week Kathak, Garba & Bollywood Dance Workshop organized by CGI Hambantota from 11th – 15th December 2023 at the Consulate Premises was a resounding success, drawing a large turnout from nearby schools, Hambantota Nursing School, and the local community. 

The Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sankaja Nimantha, a locally trained dance instructor with Indian expertise and it seamlessly blended tradition and contemporary dance forms. The event not only showcased the rich tapestry of Indian dance but also fostered cultural unity among participants, creating a memorable experience of rhythmic celebration and artistic expression.
