Consulate General of India, Hambantota presents Books & Sports Items to Debarawewa National School

Consulate General of India, Hambantota Mr. Dipin P.R visited  Debarawewa National School on 20^th December 2021 and  presented reading materials & other reference books essential for the comprehensive development of the students. He also presented sports items such as Cricket Kits, Volleyballs, and Netballs to encourage the abiding interest in sports among students.

02.       The Books & Sport Items were presented to Mr. W.A Nimal, Principal of Debarawewa National School and the Deputy Principal, teachers & students of the schools were also present during the event. They deeply appreciated the contribution of Consulate General of India, Hambantota to their school.

03.        The Consulate General of India has been interacting with Schools in Southern Province since the beginning of the Consulate through various activities such as presenting Musical Instruments, Offering scholarship programmes for students, conducting cultural programmes, yoga programmes and workshops. In addition to that every year India is offering 794 scholarships to students in Sri Lanka to study in India.
