PRESS RELEASE

            Mr. Dipin P.R, Consul General of India in Hambantota, visited Central Province during 14-16/12/2020.   During his visit he called on Hon’ble Governor of Central Province His excellency Mr.  Mr. Lalith U Gamage and  had a cordial discussion on Indian Development projects and on further strengthening India- Sri Lanka relations. He also met Mr. Gamini Rajarathna the Chief Secretary of Central Province at the Central Province Chief Secretariat premises.  

2.         Consul General along with Assistant High Commissioner, Mr. Dhirendar Singh, visited Kandyan Dance Academy at SriLanka International Buddhist Academy (SIBA), Pallekele  which is being constructed with the grant assistance from India. Consul general offered prayers at the temple of tooth relic and had a friendly meeting with officials of Dalada Maligawa Temple.
