Contribution by NRIs/PIOs to Swachh Bharat Kosh

Swachh Bharat Kosh (Clean India Fund) has been set up to attract contributions, including from NRIs and Indian-origin persons, to achieve objective of Clean India (Swachh Bharat) by 2019, the 150th year of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through Swachh Bharat Mission. A nation-wide effort is on to mobilize resources for improving sanitation facilities in rural and urban areas in India, especially in schools.
