Three-day Bharatanatyam Dance Workshop at Pokunugala Raja Maha Viharaya, Monaragala

Consulate General of India, Hambantota organized a three-day Bharatanatyam Workshop from 29–31 December 2025, at Pokunugala Raja Maha Viharaya, Monaragala.
The workshop drew enthusiastic participation from over 200 students, providing them with hands-on experience in India’s classical dance form. The initiative highlighted the shared cultural heritage between India and Sri Lanka and fostered stronger people-to-people connections through the performing arts.
