On 19th March 2025, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota organized a seminar titled "Exploring Business Opportunities in India" at the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals eager to explore the growing potential of India as a business hub.

The seminar saw valuable virtual participation from Invest India, New Delhi, and the Southern India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), Chennai, who provided expert insights into India's dynamic business environment, investment avenues, and opportunities for cross-border collaboration. The session served as an ideal platform for networking and discussing new avenues for economic cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.
