On 5 November 2025, Hon. Ajantha Gammeddage, along with Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh and Chief Priest Chandananda Thero, inaugurated the photo exhibition “India through Sri Lankan Eyes” at Sri Poorvarama Raja Maha Viharaya. The exhibition provided a unique perspective on Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India and highlighted the shared cultural and spiritual bonds between India and Sri Lanka.
The exhibition attracted hundreds of devotees and visitors who engaged deeply with the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of Buddhism. Through carefully curated photographs, the display offered insights into historical and sacred sites, strengthening Indo-Sri Lankan cultural connections and fostering appreciation for the enduring ties between the two nations.
