India Through Sri Lankan Eyes Photo Exhibition at Shailabimbaramaya Temple, Dodanduwa

On 5 October 2025, the Consul General of India, Harvinder Singh, inaugurated the exhibition “India Through Sri Lankan Eyes: Buddhist Pilgrim Places in India” at Shailabimbaramaya Temple. The inauguration took place in the presence of the Chief Incumbent of the temple and the Chairman of the Hikkaduwa Urban Council Mr. Yasaswin Godakanda. The event was also graced by the former Chairman of the Urban Council and several Council Members, along with devotees and members of the local community. The exhibition highlighted significant Buddhist pilgrimage sites in India and aimed to strengthen the shared cultural and spiritual heritage between India and Sri Lanka.
