Inauguration of “Bharat Corner” at Bentota Public Library

On 24th March 2025, Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh, along with the Southern Provincial Assistant Commissioner of Local Government, Ms. Dilini Sumali, inaugurated the “Bharat Corner” at the Bentota Public Library. This initiative aims to strengthen the deep-rooted cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka by providing a dedicated space for promoting Indian literature, culture, and heritage. The inauguration marked a significant step in fostering people-to-people connections, enriching the community's understanding of India’s vibrant cultural and historical legacy.
