On 25th September 2025, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota, proudly celebrated Hindi Diwas 2025 in Galle, bringing together students, educators, and Hindi enthusiasts from across Southern Sri Lanka. The event highlighted the richness and cultural heritage of the Hindi language, emphasizing its significance as a bridge fostering stronger ties between India and Sri Lanka. Through a vibrant program of recitations, performances, and interactive sessions, participants explored the literary, linguistic, and artistic dimensions of Hindi.
