Fifth Countdown Event at Halpathota ‘Lamasewana’ Detention Home

On 1st May 2025, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota organized a special Yoga Session for the children of Halpathota ‘Lamasewana’ Detention Home, under the Southern Provincial Department of Probation.
This heartwarming initiative aimed to introduce the transformative power of yoga to young minds, fostering mindfulness, discipline, and inner peace. The session also served as the fifth countdown event leading up to the celebration of the 11th International Day of Yoga, highlighting yoga’s universal appeal and its ability to empower individuals across all walks of life.
