Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Tree Plantation at Rotary Primary School, Hambantota

On 26th September 2025, the Consulate General of India, Hambantota, organized a Tree Plantation Drive at Rotary Primary School, Hambantota, as part of the nationwide campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of green cover while symbolically dedicating each tree to the loving and nurturing spirit of Mother Earth. Officials from the Consulate, teachers, and students of the school actively participated in planting saplings within the school premises, fostering a sense of collective responsibility toward a greener and cleaner planet.
