EK Ped Maa Ke Naam - Tree Plantation at Al Iqra Primary School Hambantota

On 3rd October 2024, Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh participated in a meaningful environmental initiative with the students of Al Iqra Primary School, Hambantota. Together, they planted Bougainvillea saplings as part of the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
This initiative not only aimed to enhance the green cover but also instilled values of environmental conservation and gratitude towards mothers in young minds. The event reflected the shared commitment of India and Sri Lanka to nurturing a sustainable and eco-friendly future.
