3rd edition of Coffee at the Consulate

The Consulate General of India, Hambantota hosted the 3rd edition of "Coffee at the Consulate" on 20th November 2024, welcoming enthusiastic students from V. Debarawewa President College, Thissa, Debarawewa National School, Thissa, and Udamalala Maha Vidyalaya, Thissa in the Hambantota District. The session provided a unique platform for young minds to engage in lively discussions about India's rich cultural heritage, historical legacy, and growing global footprint.
The event was a vibrant blend of learning, curiosity, and meaningful dialogue in a relaxed setting over coffee. The students expressed keen interest in India’s traditions and achievements, while also sharing their own thoughts and questions. Moments like these continue to strengthen people-to-people ties and inspire mutual understanding between the younger generations of India and Sri Lanka.
