2-Day India Festival at Hambantota Beach Park

The Consulate General of India, Hambantota organized a vibrant 2-day India Festival at Hambantota Beach Park on 21st and 22nd February 2025, celebrating the rich cultural tapestry of India through a dynamic blend of events and exhibitions.
The festival featured an engaging Indian Film Festival, a mouthwatering Indian Food Festival, a showcase of unique regional products under the ODOP (One District One Product) initiative, and the colorful ‘Chalo India’ Tourism Exhibition. Visitors enjoyed an immersive weekend filled with Indian cinema, cuisine, culture, and crafts, set against the scenic backdrop of the southern coast.
The event drew enthusiastic crowds and created a lively space for cultural exchange, community bonding, and appreciation of India-Sri Lanka friendship.
