Consulate General of India, Hambantota organized a photo exhibition “India Through Sri Lankan Eyes” at Henakaduwa Raja Maha Viharaya, Tangalle to coincide with Vesak full moon poya day on May 21. The Exhibition was inaugurated on May 20 with Mr. W.N. Yapa, Divisional Secretary of Tangalle as the Chief Guest. The Chief incumbent monk of the temple Reverent Weeraketiye Nalaka Thero was also present on the occasion. Hundreds of devotees who visited Henakaduwa Raja Maha Viharaya on Vesak Poya day viewed the exhibition with great zeal. A documentary film on “Land of Buddha” Wasa also screened during the Vesak Festival.
