Swachhata Hi SevaBeach Cleanup 2024

On 1st October 2024, CGI Hambantota, in collaboration with the local community, organized a beach cleanup drive to promote 'Swabhav Swachhata, Sanskaar Swachhata,' honoring the 155th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The initiative brought together officials from the Marine Environment Protection Authority, Hambantota District Secretariat, SLNS Kawanthissa, Hatton National Bank, and the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce.

This collective effort not only contributed to environmental preservation but also reinforced the Gandhian ideals of cleanliness and responsibility. The drive stands as a testament to the shared commitment of India and Sri Lanka toward sustainable and clean surroundings.
