India’s rich Buddhist Heritage Photo Exhibition at Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya

On the sacred occasion of Binara Full Moon Poya Day, CGI Hambantota organized a captivating Photo Exhibition showcasing India’s rich Buddhist heritage. The event took place at the historic Wewurukannala Buduraja Maha Viharaya in Dikwella on 17th September 2024. The exhibition was inaugurated by Consul General Mr. Harvinder Singh, Chief Priest Karathota Pagnaseela Thero, and Assistant Divisional Secretary of Dikwella, Mrs. Uthpala Rathnayaka.

Hundreds of devoted visitors attended, exploring India's profound contributions to Buddhism and its enduring spiritual legacy. The initiative highlighted the shared cultural ties between India and Sri Lanka, celebrating the timeless teachings of Lord Buddha.
