Tourism Interactive Session at Monaragala

Celebrating 75 years of India’s Independence “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, Consulate General of India Hambantota organized a special interactive session with Tourist organizations in Monaragala District on19th October 2022 at Monaragala. The session was focused on various tourist attractions in State of Bihar & Uttar Pradesh in India especially on Buddhist Circuit & Handicraft Products in the both states. The Interactive session was attended by many tourist organizations from Monaragala District and the Consulate’s effort on organizing the event was greatly appreciated by the stakeholders of tourism industry in Monaragala District.

The Consulate General of India has been interacting with Tourist organizations in Monaragala District since the beginning of the Consulate through various activities, events and   has been striving to provide prompt visa facilities to Sri Lankan Nationals & Buddhist Pilgrims traveling from Sri Lanka to India.
